Bartenders have named Tanqueray as their favorite spirit for the seventh time in 14 years of a poll, according to a report. The gin is known for its taste and price, with 19% of bars polled listing it as one of their top three favorite spirits. Michter's was the runner-up and has the best chance of overtaking Tanqueray as the top choice among bartenders. In third place is the tequila Ocho, which is known for its single estate terroir-driven tequila and is owned by Heaven Hill.
